The Queen Ka’ahumnanu Center in Kahului is now accepting submissions for their Kids, Inc. Business Showcase and the chance for children ages 6-15 to sell their products or services at the Center and keep the earnings.

All ambitious young businesspersons must  submit their business concepts on the Queen Ka’ahumanu Center Facebook page by July 10 at 11pm. Children 12 and under will need a parent or guardian to submit their entry for them. Concepts can include selling products created from scratch, offering a specific service or re-selling a product purchased from a wholesaler.

On July 11-18, qualified submissions will be open to public voting on Facebook. The 10 kid-run businesses that receive the most votes will be announced on July 19 and invited to participate in the Kids, Inc. Business Showcase. This next generation of Carnegies and Trumps will set up shop in the center court of the Queen Ka’ahumanu Center on Saturday, August 3 from 10am-2pm, where their goods and services will be available for anyone to purchase.

For complete program details and the official contest rules, visit the Queen Ka’ahumanu Center Facebook page under the “notes” tab.
